AZURE SKY — ‘FIND YOUR WAY HOME’

Metalcore rockers Azure Sky release their showstopping debut ‘Find Your Way Home’, a song that explores isolation in emotional turmoil and how to overcome it. The song begins with softly sung words by vocalist Dee. Here and throughout, each word offers a deep level of understanding. In comparison, this softness is soon contrasted by a blend of harmonious instrumentation, punctuated by fierce-sounding screams.

When listened to closely, there is a positive message in the lyrics. Commenting on the record’s meaning, the band said it “…is about struggling with mental health and feeling alone. We wrote it for people to realise they shouldn’t be afraid to ask for help, and to have courage in any situation.” Therefore, it is a song that may hit home for many.

The track was expertly crafted by producer and studio engineer Thomas Joy, who has mixed works for bands such as Red Wine Talk and Youth Killed It. In conclusion, ‘Find Your Way Home’ is outstanding for a debut. The band are yet to play their first show, but there is no doubt they will be picked up on support bills soon enough. It is clear Azure Sky will go places, and this is only the start.
